pvc fences

Firstly, a PVC fence will last much longer. A wood fence has an average lifespan of roughly 10 to 15 years, while a PVC fence can last more than 50 years. This is because they are made from a type of durable plastic called poly vinyl chloride, which is as strong as wood but can stand up to the elements much better than a natural material. They cannot get termite damage, they cannot grow mildew, they cannot rot, and they cannot fade or splinter. They are even resistant to graffiti for the area of miami.
Secondly, its sturdy nature also means that PVC fencing is virtually maintenance free. There will never be a need to paint or sand it. Nor do you have to worry about it blowing down in a storm or collapsing under the weight of someone attempting to climb it; PVC is five times stronger and four times more flexible than wood. Plus, it is easy to install yourself.
Lastly, PVC fences look much cleaner and sharper than a typical wooden fence. They come in a crisp white color that is specially treated to withstand harsh UV rays. They are available in a variety of styles from traditional to contemporary, making them a perfect choice for any type of building. In fact, they have become so popular that they can actually increase the property value of your home. They are seen as an upgrade, similar to having granite counter tops in your kitchen.

Clean a PVC Fence
Step 1
Wet the fence down with the garden hose and brush with a soft bristled brush. Recreation-vehicle brushes that you can connect to your garden hose work very well for this. Do this cleaning at regular intervals to remove dirt and dust.
Step 2
Mix 2/3 cup of a regular household cleaner into a bucket with one gallon of water. Then mix in 1/3 cup of a powdered laundry soap. Brush onto the fence when it becomes too dirty to clean with just water. Rinse well.
Step 3
Use mineral spirits and a soft clean rag for grease or waxy stains. Try not to press too hard with the cloth. Rinse off all the mineral spirits when you are finished.
Step 4
Use Goof Off if you get paint or some type of marker on the vinyl. Again, try not to press down with the rag too hard, or you could damage the fence. Rinse well when finished.
Step 5
Try oxalic acid for rust stains. Apply with a soft bristled brush and then wipe with a clean soft rag. Rinse with clean water when finished.
Step 6
Put a little lacquer thinner on a soft rag and rub away stubborn stains. Then rinse clean with water.
